【摘要】:Performancetestingofon-lineanalyzersiscriticaltotheirproperperformancewithinpredictablelevelsofprecisionandaccuracy.Thispracticecanaffectproductionefficiencyandcertificationofaromatichydrocarbonmaterials.1.1Thispracticeservesasapracticalguidefortheperformancetestingofprocessstreamanalyzersspecificallyformeasuringchemicalorphysicalcharacteristicsofliquidaromatichydrocarbonmaterialsforproductionorcertificationofthesematerials.Thepracticemaybeapplicabletootherhydrocarbonstreamanalyzersaswell.1.2Onlyexternalmethods(completesubstitutionoftheprocessstreamwithastandard)ofcontrolsampleintroductionareincluded.Internalmethodsarebeyondthescopeofthispractice.1.3Methodsforresettingkeyoperationalparametersofanalyzerstomatchpredefinedlimitsareprovidedbyvendorsandarenotincludedinthispractice.1.4AnalyzervalidationproceduresarecoveredinPracticesD3764andD6122,notinthispractice.1.5Proceduresforstatisticallyinterpretingdatafromautomaticsamplingprocessstreamanalyzersareoutlined.1.6TheimplementationofthispracticerequiresthattheanalyzerbeinstalledaccordingtoAPIRP-550(1),andbeinagreementwiththeanalyzersupplier''srecommendations.Also,itassumesthattheanalyzerisdesignedtomonitorthespecificmaterialparameterofinterest,andthatatthetimeofinitialorperiodicvalidation,theanalyzerwasoperatingattheconditionsspecifiedbythemanufacturerandconsistentlywiththeprimarytestmethod.1.7Theunitsofmeasureusedinthispracticeshallbethesameasthoseapplicabletothetestprimarymethodusedforanalyzervalidation.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
