【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesthetechnicalrequirementsandmethodsoftestforadhesivesbasedonsyntheticresinsofthephenolicandaminoplastictypes,withorwithoutadditionalhardenersandextenders.Thestandarddoesnotinanywayapplytoadhesivesbasedonresinsoftypesotherthanphenolicoraminoplasticandshouldnotbequotedfortheseothermaterials.Thepropertiesoftheadhesivesaredeterminedbytestsmadeonbeechwoodjointswiththingluelines.Thefailingforcesobtainedonthetestpiecesprescribedcannotbeconvertedintotermsofstressvalues(i.e.pascals)forstructuralcalculations.Resinssometimesrequireahardenertobeaddedbytheuser.Inthissituation,thisstandardcoversthecombinationofresinandhardener.Iftheresinandhardeneraresoldseparately,neitherbyitselfcanbesaidtoconformtoanyofthespecifieddurabilityclasses.
