【摘要】:Thiscodeofpracticecoversthedesign,installationandoperationofsolidfuelheatingandcookingappliances(hereafterreferredtoasappliances)whicharesuitableforfittingintosmallcraftfrom2.5mto24minlength.Theseappliancescanburneithernaturalormanufacturedsolidmineralfuels,ornaturalormanufacturedwoodlogs.Thiscodeofpracticegivesguidanceonapplianceselection,designconsiderations,installationrequirements,inspectionandtesting,andpreparinginstructionsfortheenduseroftheappliance.Guidanceisalsoprovidedonthenecessarysafetyinformationtobeprovidedtotheenduserconcerningthemaintenanceandsafeuseoftheseappliances.Thiscodeofpracticeonlyappliestofreestandingapplianceswithclosabledoors,withandwithoutlegs.Thiscodeofpracticedoesnotapplytotheinstallationofapplianceswithafireboxvolumeoflessthan0.01m3andagratesizesmallerthan0.05m2,andwherethedimensionalrecommendationsoftheinstallationcannotbemet(e.g.intraditionalnarrowboatboatman’sbackcabins).
