【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversperformancerequirementsforhelmetsmanufacturedforusebyinfantsandtoddlersaspassengersoroperatorsofnonmotorizedvehiclesintendedfortheiruse.Thisspecificationrecognizesthedesirabilityoflightweightconstructionandventilation;however,itisaperformancestandardandisnotintendedtorestrictdesign.1.2AlltestingandrequirementsofthisspecificationshallbeinaccordancewithTestMethodsF1446exceptasnoted.1.3Partialutilizationofthisstandardisprohibited.Anystatementofcompliancewiththisspecificationmustbeacertificationthattheproductmeetsalloftherequirementsofthisspecificationintheirentirety.Aproductthatfailstomeetanyoneoftherequirementsofthisspecificationisconsideredtohavefailedthisstandard,andshouldnotbesoldwithanyindicationthatitmeetspartsofthisstandard.1.4Headgearthatcomplieswiththisandotherstandardsmayproclaimusesasdescribedinthosestandardsascertifiedbythemanufacturer.1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
